Marcia Lynn Evoy concentrates her practice exclusively in marital and family law matters such as dissolution of marriage, alimony, distribution of assets and liabilities, child support, parenting plans and timesharing, child relocation, paternity, contempt and enforcement, post-judgment modifications, temporary custody by extended family, dependency, domestic violence, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Ms. Evoy further serves the best interests of children as a court-appointed guardian ad litem and attorney ad litem.

Ms. Evoy has focused her career on marital and family law for over ten years. She joined a reputable Boca Raton law firm and exclusively practiced marital and family law after law school. She represented and advocated on behalf of clients in trials, mediations, and evidentiary hearings in a wide range of cases including dissolution of marriage, modification, paternity, and domestic violence proceedings. Ms. Evoy has been appointed to The Florida Bar, Family Law Section, Domestic Violence Committee, which is instrumental in passing legislation to protect domestic violence victims. In addition to being an effective and aggressive litigator, Ms. Evoy is a skillful negotiator for her clients in mediation.

Prior to law school, Ms. Evoy worked as a paralegal alongside and assisted seasoned litigation attorneys at jury trials and evidentiary hearings. Ms. Evoy joined a prominent law firm with offices throughout the State of Florida as the sole paralegal for the firm’s family law department. Ms. Evoy held this position until she attended law school. While at this law firm, Ms. Evoy worked side-by-side with some of the country’s most accomplished family law practitioners. Ms. Evoy assisted the family law attorneys in every aspect of complex matrimonial and family law cases handled at the firm.

Ms. Evoy is dedicated to her clients and passionate about her cases. She works tirelessly to achieve the best results for her clients and their children whether in settlement or in the courtroom.
